Senior Project Manager (Renewables)
Senior Project Manager – This position will deliver a variety of renewable energy projects, overseeing a team of established in-house project managers, assistant project managers and technicians. You will lead client development portfolios from green field identification, technical assessment up to ready-to-build phase.

A track record of delivery and of maintaining great client relationships.
Clients include international utility and independent power producers as well as Irish developers and operators of renewable energy and energy storage plants. Working on several portfolios of onshore wind, solar and storage projects more than 3000MW.

Salary: €80 – €90, 0000 subject to experience + travel expenses + up to 25% salary bonus + generous pension.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- lead project teams, planning resource requirements, budgets and timelines
- produce and manage a development plan for the delivery of each project
- manage portfolio implementation including environment, land, planning consent, engineering and community engagement
- establish and monitor the commercial case foreach individual project up to ready-to-build stage including civil cost, technology cost, land costs, EPC and other commercial factors
- maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions
- provide input to business growth approaches in Ireland, UK, and Europe
- conduct own technical work and reviews the work of others, internal and external
- engage with clients, government, and industry stakeholders
- lead initiatives that will establish or maintain quality objectives
Qualifications
- High quality honours degree in engineering, environmental science, project management, or related field
Required Experience
- 5+ years post qualification experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy or infrastructure deployment gained in a development company or consulting company.
- Experience of procurement and contract negotiations, particularly for professional service in support of Environmental Impact Assessment and planning application for infrastructure
- Commercial experience in utility scale renewables specifically large-scale wind and solar
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management
- Demonstrable ability to influence stakeholders and lead others through long term
- Awareness of energy project land agreements and commercial provisions
- Detailed knowledge of Planning and Development systems in Ireland and
- Working knowledge of electricity grid connection provisions in Ireland and
- Experience dealing with local and national authorities and statutory. Experience in developing high quality Development Plans and Business Cases for complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
