Principal/ Senior Hydrogeologist

About the Role:
As Principal Hydrogeologist, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing hydrogeological studies, groundwater modelling, and environmental assessments. You’ll lead a team of experts, guiding clients through complex groundwater challenges and providing strategic solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse projects, from environmental site assessments to sustainable water resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage hydrogeological projects from conception to completion.
  • Conduct detailed groundwater investigations, modelling, and analysis.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients on groundwater resource management, contamination assessments, and remediation solutions.
  • Oversee project teams, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on the latest hydrogeological trends and regulations to provide cutting-edge solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Masters or PhD preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in hydrogeology, with demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of groundwater modelling, contamination assessments, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
