The Role

Currently on the lookout for a talented Land Agent who will conduct contract negotiations with landowners and secure land rights for the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will report to, and work directly with, a skilled project management team. Regular travel throughout the island of Ireland is required, as well as occasional trips to Great Britain.

As the new Land Agent, you’ll be at the cutting edge of renewable energy development in Ireland and beyond, playing a key role in driving sustainable change. In return you will receive career development and progression to help you realise your ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research areas of interest and gather landowner information.
  • Analyse and document research results.
  • Organise and plan site visits to potential solar, wind, and battery storage sites
  • Prepare reports and legal documents
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, and manage commercial negotiations.
  • Assess and evaluate consent and grid-access obstacles.
  • Meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities in an environment with shifting timeframes.

Candidate Profile


  • 4+ years‚Äô experience in land acquisition.
  • Proficient in report writing and preparing legal documents.
  • High level of written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong technical analysis and solution-focused.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Teams, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Full clean driving license and car.


  • Bachelor’s qualification in a technical discipline such as Planning, Engineering, Agriculture Science, or Construction.
  • Chartered Surveyor.
  • Experience in the renewable energy.
